It also rated above-average last year in the majors according to Pitch Type Linear Weights, although that's likely because hitters were looking fastball. With a guy like this, it's a process. He's not going to just show up painting the corners one day and be great from there on out. There are going to be some hiccups. Hopefully, it isn't the start of a trend; if it's not, I'm not worried.
