Trevor Hoffman Closes Out Career

Long time San Diego Padres Closer, Trevor Hoffman, chose to hang up his glove and his cleats today. He is retiring with 601 career saves, ranking number 1 all-time.

Hoffman spent 16 seasons as a Padre collecting 552 saves in the Padre uniform. His change-up will go down as one of the league’s best, freezing hitters and just making them look silly.

Hopefully he makes it into the Baseball Hall of Fame after his tremendous career. He has left the Padres fans with some of the best memories in Padres history. AC DC’s Hell’s Bells will bring up memories of his greatness.
