Mat Latos Has No Limits

San Diego Padres young phenom pitcher Mat Latos will not be restricted this season as far as his pitch count. Last season, Latos was held to a strict inning count and looked like he ran out of gas toward the end of the season.

"I guess I kind of hit the wall … at not the best of time. My goal is to still be strong in September. – Mat Latos"

He is developing into one of the best pitchers in the league and he hopes to pitch strong for the entire season. Latos is the ace to the young pitching staff and will be counted on during the season to bring his electric stuff to the mound every 5th day. He pitches with a lot of confidence and he brings an energy and an attitude to the rest of the pitching staff.
