FanSided All NL West Pitching Staff

Our National League West BLOGS (Venom Strikes (Diamondbacks), Rox Pile (Rockies), Lasorda’s Lair (Dodgers), andFrisco Fastball (Giants)) at the FanSided Network came together earlier in the season to create an All-Star NL West roster of position players and today we agreed upon the pitching staff.

Here is the NL West Roster that we came up with earlier:

C – Buster Posey – San Francisco Giants
1b – Aubrey Huff – San Francisco Giants
2b – Kelly Johnson – Arizona Diamondbacks
3b – Pablo Sandoval – San Francisco Giants
SS – Troy Tulowitzki – Colorado Rockies
OF – Carlos Gonzalez – Colorado Rockies
OF – Chris Young – Arizona Diamondbacks
OF – Andre Ethier – Los Angeles Dodgers

As you can see, none of our Padres were selected to the team.

Here is the pitching staff that we came up with:

SP – Tim Lincecum – San Francisco Giants
SP – Ubaldo Jimenez – Colorado Rockies
SP – Clayton Kershaw – Los Angeles Dodgers
SP – Mat Latos – San Diego Padres
SP – Matt Cain – San Francisco Giants
Setup – Mike Adams – San Diego Padres
CP – Brian Wilson – San Francisco Giants

Mike Adams and Mat Latos are part of our team but sadly, Heath Bell was beat out by Brian Wilson and his beard for the closer position.
