The Padres are going to go without a designated hitter in the game so that Moseley can get his hacks in the lineup. Most likely, they want to make sure he is comfortable putting the bunts down if needed when the season starts.
Kevin Frandsen and Rob Johnson will be watched carefully as they have struggled through the spring and they both are expected to be relied upon during the season. They need to step it up.
