The teams down on the farm lit up the scoreboards tonight… too bad the major league team didn’t have the same type of firepower. Check out some of the notes from the minor league teams.

Triple-A: Tucson Padres 6 – Salt Lake Bees 7

Everth Cabrera went 3-for-5 in the game with 2 walks and stole his 5th base of the season. Cedric Hunter saw his first action in Tucson since being brought down and went 0-for-4 with 2 walks. Logan Forsythe continued with his hot bat and went 2-for-6 and had 4 RBIs in the game. Anthony Rizzo also had his 10th RBI of the season in the game.

Double-A: San Antonio Missions 23 – Tulsa Drillers 10

The Missions just lit up the scoreboard with 23 runs hitting 8 home runs in the game. SS Beamer Weems hit 2 homeruns with 5 RBI, LF Jaff Decker hit a homerun with 4 RBI, 1B Cody Decker with a homerun and 2 RBI, RF Sawyer Carroll with 2 homeruns and 5 RBI, 2B Anthony Contreras with a homerun and 3 RBI, and even the pitcher Matt Buschmann got into the act with a homerun and 2 RBI.
