The Padres Drinking Game
By Ernie Padaon
Padres baseball is so difficult to watch this year and the only way to make it fun is to add some BREWS into the mix. Courtesy of @joosef, here are some rules for a possible drinking game:
Defense
Take a drink when:
Bartlett commits and error
Denorfia dives at a fly ball and it goes past him
Headley skies the ball over Rizzo’s head
Hundley throws the ball into CF on a steal
Richard throws the ball away on a pick-off to 2nd.
Rizzo stands there watching the ball go between him and 2nd.
Dick Enberg
Take a drink when he says:
Warning Path
Players names incorrectly
Starts rooting for the other team
Comes back from Wimbledon and the team starts losing again
Uncle Teddy
Take a drink when he says:
Blames underperformance on injuries and then says he’s not making excuses.
Says padres are better than opposing team even though stats, record, and scoreboard say otherwise.
Brown noses the GM (Hey Jed, nice pickup!)
Tries to sell you something.
