The good news there is that no one seems to think Moores has the funds or desire to continue owning the Padres. He wants out and as long as there are buyers, the Padres will have a new owner.

I just want to see the team get an owner that is willing to spend a little more money and continue on the farm system building path Moorad and Co. started. I don't want to see Moores regain control and force Josh Byrnes to draft another Matt Bush because he isn't willing to spend more than 4 million on a top draft choice.
