I would have rather the Padres received an elite shortstop prospect or at the very least a good hitting prospect of AA vintage or higher for Rizzo. There was no need to move Rizzo so quickly. That is why I did not like this trade. Guys who throw as hard as Cashner almost always end up being injured all the time. I do really like the Latos trade though.
