		<description>I think the catcher blocking the plate is really the only reason for baseball violence. And I wouldn&#039;t call that violence really. If they did it in a league of their own then it&#039;s cool. But I feel like getting hit by a 90mph pitch should have some greater reward/penalty. Automatic home runs or something.</description>

		<description>There has been a major shift in the game toward protecting players whether it be limiting collisions at the plate or cracking down on beaning a guy. I&#039;m honestly torn on the subject. I love baseball history, I love the toughness old guys exhibited. However, I struggle with saying making the game a little safer is wrong. I will say this though, if a catcher is blocking the plate, the runner has every right to blast him. </description>

		<description>I agree that seeing if a player is alright is good move. I just don&#039;t think there needs to be media coverage on it. With all the bean balls lately it seems like the media wants to know immediately if this is a feud and then demand a public apology or suspension or something. It&#039;s just letting things get blown out of proportion. But, Chase is a classy ballplayer and respect his concern.</description>
