The Padres have been rather silent this off-season. Many fans like myself are still waiting for that “big acquisition” or “big named free agent.” Heck, even extending Chase Headley would be nice.
But there is an old-saying in baseball that goes a little something like this, “Sometimes the best move, is the one you don’t make,” and the Padres haven’t made a whole lot of moves. So maybe their quite off-season is best for the team.
