A lot has been said, or hasn’t been said about the Padres off-season moves. Some fans agree with the Padres approach on being financially smart this off-season, while others still want to see the Padres acquire that big acquisition via trade or free agency.

So last Wednesday, I posed the question in a poll to the Chicken Friars’ readers: “Are you satisfied with the Padres off-season moves?

Here is what you said:

A total of 60 votes were cast, and 63 percent (38votes) of the Chicken Friars’ readers voted that they were not satisfied with the Padres off-season moves, and are still waiting for the Padres to land that big name acquisition.

On the other hand, 37 percent of the Chicken Friars’ readers (22 voters) voted that the Padres are being financially smart this off-season.

The Padres’ off-season has been highlighted by the re-signing of outfielder/firstbaseman Kyle Blanks; pitcher Jason Marquis; and the acquisition of Tyson Ross.
