Chicken Friars is one of the best San Diego Padres blogs on the Internet, providing both quantity and quality in Padres coverage since the beginning of Spring Training 2010.

Dominic Di Tolla – Staff Writer
I was born in Rancho Bernardo so I’ve always loved the Padres. I recently received my B.A. from The University of Arizona in History with a Minor in Economics. Now I’m currently working in Tucson for a year before I pursue a post-grad M.B.A. degree in Management (hopefully with a focus on Sports Management). Besides following the Padres, my hobbies include reading about history and sports, doing stand-up comedy, and writing for the Fansided Steelers-themed blog “Nice Pick, Cowher.”

Robert Moreno – Staff Writer
Padres baseball first came into my life in 1991. That’s when I first saw my first Padres game on the television
and I’ve been hooked on the team ever since. Sadly for me, no one ever warned me about all the heart break that
comes with being a Padres fan. Nonetheless, win, lose, or draw I’ll always show up to the ball park always rockin’ my Padres jersey. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from San Diego State University, I currently work from home as a freelance journalist. I watch Padres baseball with my beautiful girlfriend of five years. We attend about 10 games a season and DVR every televised game. During the off season, I like to read, listen to hip-hop, play fantasy football, and most importantly spend time with my girlfriend. My all-time favorite Padres are Tony Gwynn, Phil Nevin and Jake Peavy.

Dallas McLaughlin – Staff Writer
Dallas is a lifelong Padres fan and it should come as no surprise he also loves to cry – a lot. Dallas was in the stands for Tony Gwynn’s last game as a starter, Trevor Hoffman’s 500th Save, Ricky Henderson breaking the all-time Runs record and when Ruben Rivera was overrated.
Dallas has written for The Aquabats! Super Show!, Yo! Gabba Gabba,FoxRox and So Say We All. He got his sports writing start on a small blog called The Sports Minute which turned into The Kept Faith and you’ve probably never heard of either.

Luke Winkie – Staff Writer
Luke Winkie was born in San Diego. His parents warned him about being a Padres fan, but he jumped in with both feet anyways. He has been a hopeless romantic ever since. Luke also contributes as a music writer to places like the Austin Chronicle, Paste, Prefix and Under the Radar. He still maintains that the best way to watch baseball is by playing a Smiths record at the same time.
